Should we book ferry ticket in advance?
Just like Flight tickets , ferry tickets in Andaman are in high demand since it's the life line connecting major islands in Andaman for tourist and there for Its fully sold out before departure date.last moment booking will cost you more as economical options are sold first or at worst case you may not get ferry ticket for the given date which might lead to hotel cancellation. hotels charge as per refund policy in case you dont get ferry which might be no refund at last moment.on the other hand ferry booked once can be rescheduled for a nominal charged compared to hotels.

Can I book Govt Ferry Online?
PGovt Ferry ticket is not made available online in any of the Govt run portals.
Govt Ferry tickets is available only at Marine Jetty Ticketing Counter.Booking
is avail only 3 day prior departure and tickets for tourist are limited quota as
majority of the tickets are reserved for locals.
Where is the Boarding Point?
Haddo Jetty in Port Blair city is the boarding point for all Private ferry
operating for Havelock and neil islands.haddo Jetty is about 3-5 km from
airport.
Boarding Procedure?
On reaching haddo jetty gate CISF personnel will check your ticket and valid ID
proof and allow entry .upon entry head to check in counter of the respective
Private ferry. After Check in wait in the passenger waiting until called for
boarding.
